Taught by members of the Franklin Fire Department, students gain real-world experience through a mix of classroom instruction and skill-building labs-perfect for those interested in firefighting or emergency response careers.

Students in this pathway have the opportunity to apply for the Franklin Fire Department’s highly competitive, 19-week paid internship for recent graduates. Interns train full-time at the Franklin Fire Training Center, working side-by-side with professional firefighters, gaining real-world experience in emergency services. Additionally, graduates are eligible to apply to numerous volunteer fire departments, opening even more doors to careers in public safety.
